Capabilities

Limerick & Associates has delivered research and evaluation services in government, non-government and private sector contexts.  We have particular expertise in conducting research and evaluation in relation to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, in both remote and urban contexts.  We have over two decades of experience working with Indigenous communities and are well versed in following cultural and research ethics protocols.

Our services cover the full spectrum or research and evaluation activities from:

  • Evaluation design: development of program logic models, and monitoring and evaluation frameworks

  • Literature reviews: policy and practice literature as well as academic research

  • Qualitative and quantitative data collection: including online survey design and administration, structured interviews, focus groups and workshops

  • Data analysis: use of robust methods such as coding of interview data using qualitative data analysis software to identify themes and patterns

  • Reporting: comprehensive reports prepared to a high standard of analysis, presentation and written expression

  • Implementation: presentations and workshops with management and staff to review evaluation outcomes and plan and implement improvements

Limerick & Associates has also delivered training to frontline staff on topics such as monitoring & evaluation and performance measurement.

  • Consultation with Traditional Owner groups to evaluate the implementation of a coal seam gas company's native title agreements

  • Review of a coal seam gas company's Indigenous relations strategy and performance, involving desktop review of documents, interviews with company staff and external consultations with Indigenous stakeholders
